The Chitimacha are one of the most interesting Native Tribes. The Chitimacha were first established in the mid 1600's. They have been moved from different parts of the country and are now back were they first settled. In this paper I will write about their belief, values, economic, family and political institutions of the society.

of the most interesting tribes because they have been around for so long. I went on a trip when I was younger and visited their native grounds. That was one of the neatest things I have ever done. Doing the research I learned a lot about the Chitimacha tribe.
