Throughout history the world has undergone some dramatic changes due to specific events. World War I is one of these specific events that caused some major changes. The war had some major effects on the world especially Europe socially, politically and economically. European countries channeled all of their resources into total war, which resulted in enormous social change. The causalities had both a social and a economical effect on the world. Whenever you lose a large proportion of society it greatly effects the economy. The total deaths from World War I were somewhere in the neighborhood of 38,000,000.
