Ancient Egyptians came up with their own way to express their feelings, keep records of history, and communicate, this invention was known as Hieroglyphics. Here is a little history on hieroglyphics. The word hieroglyphics comes from the two Greek words: hieros, meaning scared and glyphe which means, carving. rosette stone was said to have been written in 196 B.C.
The Rosette stone was written by a group of Priests in honor of the present Pharaoh and all his good deeds.
While a group of French soldiers were rebuilding an old fort in Egypt they happened to luckily stumble upon a very historical archeological find Known as the Rosette stone. And because it was found in Rosette it was then named the Rosette stone.
