prejudice does not define the harsh reality of the hatred that exists in Maycomb County. Atticus believed that if even one person stopped being prejudiced, it would make a big difference. Atticus' principles and morals are very much valued and wants his children acquire the same knowledge also, this is simply because morals such love for all human beings, importance of living things, and an open attitude toward others beliefs and actions are very important.
