In Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, the character I found to be interesting was Marcus Brutus.
As a conspirator against Julius Caesar and a tragic hero in the end, his characteristics were ones
that I thought were admirable. Brutus is a complicated and dynamic character because he is easily
manipulated, he vacillates between being indecisive and decisive, and he proves himself to be an
honorable man.

I found Brutus to be easily manipulated, dynamic, and honorable. His weakness
of having his mind controlled easily led him to the direction of changing from being indecisive to
decisive. His decisions then, led him to his fate as a tragic hero. Last of all, his strength as noble
man made him honorable. I believe Shakespeare's message, by the way he characterizes Brutus, is
that mankind is not as honorable or trustworthy as you think.
