Ernest Hemingway"s "The Sun Also Rises" is a story about a group of people living in Paris. They do not seem to have real jobs; it is like they are trying to find some meaning to life. They travel, drink and have casual sex frequently. I want to talk about the three main characters: Robin Cohn, Jake Barnes, and Brett Ashley.

Robert, and Brett were romanticists. The three of them seemed to be in a love triangle and in the edn Robert lost. Jake and Brett's love for one another continued. Brett said to Jake "We could have had such a damned good time together.", she was refering to sex and his reply was "Yes", "Isn;t it pretty to think so." I think in the end the two of them were happy with one another.
