William Shakespeare's Hamlet has been remade a number of times in film and in plays. I recently watched two movies of Hamlet directed by different people. The directors add little things to make it their own interpretation of the play Hamlet. Some directors like to emphasize different scenes for instance. …showed last 75 words of 781 total…took a lot of the seriousness away from the movie. But, it was still my favorite version. Hamlet is one of Shakespeare's most famous plays. Kenneth Branagh and Franco Zeffirelli's versions of Hamlet are just two of the many versions there are out there. I am sure that Hamlet will continue to be remade many times. I hope that directors keep the basics of it, but add new things to make it new and refreshing.
