Genie's health. Any advancement of science should be second to the basic needs of human beings. Genie was in need of a lot of attention and nurturing. She was a victim of severely abusive parents, robbed of the normal, healthy life she deserved. It is the opinion of this writer that science can wait, that the physical, mental, and emotional healing of Genie should be the utmost priority of the scientists who worked with her.
