In the summer of 2005, I went on a community service trip to St. Louis, Missouri. I had gone on a similar trip the summer before to Chicago, and I would be going to one the summer after to New York City. I enjoyed all three very much, but for very different reasons. St. Louis was enjoyable because it changed my outlook on life.

talk about the events there. The memories are fading a little, but the ones that struck me the hardest are still vivid in my mind. I think that no matter what age I am, when I am gathered with my family around some Thanksgiving feast in the future, St. Louis will come to mind. I will reflect back on the food bank, the gymnasium, and Bobby, and I will realize how lucky I really am.
