deal with issues of diversity. I found the book hard to put down and I enjoyed relating
issues learned in class based on gender to this book. The house on Mango Street, upon
completion of reading, is now a part of my own library and I recommend this novel to
anyone who may want to educate themselves on the diversity struggles that women have
had in their lives.
