For the options assignment, I watched the movie Stepmom. This movie is about divorced couple and their struggles. Together they have two children, Benjamin and Anna, who live with their mother, Jackie. The children have weekend visits with their father, Luke, who recently had his girlfriend, Isabelle, to move in with him. They movie focused more on the reaction of Anna and Ben since they were the ones that were affected the most. Overall, this movie did a good job of supporting the ideas discussed in the class lectures. For only being a film, they portrayed a very heartfelt story that many people can relate to.
