and yet bothersome idea. It is like an idea from a science fiction movie that has crossed into reality. With the advancement of stem cells human life may be significantly prolonged. However, since the most promising results lie with embryonic stem cells, the question of whether the taking of a human life is involved. People must weigh the results against the consequences and decide if continuing with stem cell development is ethically and morally acceptable.
