there is still an element of love. The poem addresses a lover of the writer through figurative language and metaphors. The organization of the poem makes a steady progression from images of aging, to dying, to death but there is always, or should always be love.
In conclusion sonnet 73 made me appreciate how precious life and youth are. It also reminds me to seize the day and take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead.
