Amidst the drastic advances in technology, the issue of personal right and freedom has become highly controversial. People want to ensure control over their own lives, and death. Whatever their decision, I would like to urge them to realise that it is impossible to ensure that all acts of euthanasia are truly voluntary and that the law can be abused. Thus, by this and my above-mentioned arguments, I justify my stand that euthanasia should not be legalised.
