Setting
When Frankenstien tells his story to Walton, they are in the Artic. However, when Frankenstein is telling his story, it takes place in places in Europe such as Ingolstadt and Geneva. The time which the story takes place is somewhere around the late 1700s. The author tries to create a "spooky" setting for some of the story.
