The origin of life, its an unknown that has been discussed, researched, and pondered for an unknown length of time. But is the theory of Intelligent Design, or ID, a theory that should be taught in the science department of the United States educational system? Unfortunately no, its not. ID requires a higher power to be present, which is what religion is advocating. ID is better to be taught in a religious or social studies class because of its religious affiliation, not a science classroom. The Theory of Intelligent Design does not fit into the science curriculum for these reasons and we stand in negation to the resolution.
