In this article Frank Pitman M.D. looks at intimate relationships between older women and young men in movies. In many movies men in there fifties are paired with women in there twenties. A prime example was Six Days and Seven Nights filmed in 1998, staring Harrison Ford, who is 53 opposite Anne Heche who is 25. Also the perfect murder with Michael Douglas, at 55 and Gwyneth Paltrow, at 24

and raises some questions about women today. Also, I think that this works into our discussion gender roles because society thru the films tells us that its OK for an older man to be with a younger woman, but shun the converse. In the future, I think these lines will be broken down with more films like Stella, that say it is fine to be intimate with a man from the next generation.
