An organization's reputation, profitability, and even its continued existence can depend on the degree to which its targeted "publics" support its goals and policies. Public relations specialists serve as advocates for businesses, nonprofit associations, universities, hospitals, and other organizations, and build and maintain positive relationships with the public. For this paper, I will define Public Relations, and examine the impact of PR on society and my views as an individual.

The research assists the communication process and helps one to understand the success or failure of a campaign. One of the most important concepts in PR is to constantly think ahead, planning and evaluating a situation for an effective business campaign. This will save time and effort by predicting certain critical issues.
