Pierre-Auguste Renoir was a French Impressionist painter, as well as a sculptor. In 1841, Limoges, France was his birthplace. He was the sixth child in his family. There are also some at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, the National Gallery of Art, in Washington DC, the National Gallery in London, and in many other countries. Overall I enjoy most of Renoir's work, but I like his landscapes and outdoor scenes a lot better than his portraits, because they seem too bland.
