"Oedipus Rex" is the classic play by Sophocles about the tragedy of a man by the name of Oedipus. After studying Oedipus Rex, interesting questions arise to mind. I think Sophocles was trying to show through this tragedy that running away from you fate only makes it inevitable and, you should just face them instead of fleeing.
