Society is able to see past factors such as the addiction, poisoning, and violent nature often caused by alcohol, but unable to see past the victimless crime of smoking a bowl. Regardless of the nature of marijuana, society has labeled the use of the drug morally wrong, and it will remain as such until society is willing to listen to reason and decide change.
