The way to teach for the future
A baby learns to talk, eat and walk in the early years of its life. This same baby that had to practice to talk, be taught to eat, and helped to walk managed to listen from the time it was still in the womb. The growing community of students is getting harder and harder to assist and old ways of teaching are just becoming ancient. Sewall goes under the impression that children need to be brought back to traditional styles of learning: lecture, reading, and writing. Although those forms of education can be helpful at times, we as a society need to realize that children need different forms of education if they are truly going to be the future.
