Grace Murray Hopper (1906 - 1992) Grace Hopper graduated from Vassar College in 1928 with Phi Beta Kappa and a Vassar College Fellowship. She went to Yale University, where she earned an M.A. in 1930, and a Ph.D. in 1934. She also went to New York University as a Vassar Faculty Fellow in 1941.
