In the 1970's, scientists discovered that strands of DNA could be cut using special enzymes, which could cut out genetic combinations. DNA contains information about genes particular organisms hold. Exact copies of genes can also be made through genetic engineering and are very useful for medical practices. Advances in technology have raised issues such as animal and human cloning. These issues have caused many different sided arguments.
Genetic engineering is when scientists change or alter

been dead for 8 years they can clone a human. Cloning the sheep was done by taking a gene from the dead sheep and cutting and splicing the gene and putting it into an mammory cell and the sheep was produced from this, Dolly the name of the sheep died at age 6, but normaly sheep live to be at least 11 or 12, this proved to scientists that cloning shortens life span. Could this happen to humans too
