…showed last 75 words of 403 total…be named the villain of this novel. I believe that the monster is the villain. He did not begin his existence as evil, society drove him to evil. Even though he began as innocent, the abuse he endured does not give him the excuse to run rampant and kill others. There is no excuse for murder. I definitely feel sympathy for the monster, but I just feel that he shouldn't have done what he did.
