A poem has many aspects that make it what it is, the subject - or what the poem talks about on the surface, the theme - the underlying message expressed, and the tone - or the overall feel of the poem, are attributes that most poetry is full

the trees. Mending Wall has a content mood to it. However, the author seems to realize something that his neighbor doesn't see, and he is sad the neighbor refuses to accept new ideas.
Without these different aspects of poetry, it would cease to exist. All works of literature have a subject, while most poetry has a theme and mood. Words really do mean more than pictures when put together like they are in a poem.
