However, the author seems to realize something that his neighbor doesn't see, and he is sad the neighbor refuses to accept new ideas. Without these different aspects of poetry, it would cease to exist. All works of literature have a subject, while most poetry has a theme and mood. Words really do mean more than pictures when put together like they are in a poem.
