Both Prometheus Bound and Oedipus Rex are Greek tragedies. They are very similar, being the same genre, but there are also a few key differences and similarities between the two. Both of these plays were accurate tragedies and I enjoyed them immensely. They had many thought-provoking ideas and in-depth characters. They also had all the elements of tragedy- a tragic hero, a tragic flaw, a tragic fall, a moment of realization, and a bit of catharsis to add spice.
