Directors notes on Lady Macbeth
A) Lady Macbeth's relationship with Macbeth at the start of the play was very good, they shared a very close passionate relationship. This is shown because he sends her a letter about the prophecy, which shows that Macbeth see's Lady Macbeth as an equal.

A) Lady Macbeth has changed, as we can see this by her in the beginning she couldn't wait to become queen but now it has grown on her and she is becoming more insane as the story goes on, until she eventually murders herself.
B) The deterioration in her mind and marriage has been brought on because she had a power trip and now she feels guilty and she can not act innocent any longer.
