In summary I believe theory and practice are irreversibly interwoven. Practitioners are not confined simply to applying theory developed elsewhere by theorists, they are themselves engaged in theoretical and practical situations presented to them on numerous occasions, be it on the battlefield or in a learning environment. The term PRAXIS has been coined by Usher and Bryant (1989) to reflect that theory and practice are mutually interactive and should be recognised as such
