Dystopian Futures in Brave New World and Nineteen Eighty-Four. The existence created by Brave New World is very efficient however it lacks any meaning, humans have no real extremes in feelings, no love, hate, pain and suffering. They are conditioned by technology to accept these things as normal. People are mass-produced to serve the means of the sociality and have no individuality whatsoever, a bleak world eliminating spirit and human nature. The only difference between the books is the technology, if there was ample technology available in Nineteen Eighty-Four as there was in Brave New World, the two books would be almost identical. In Nineteen Eighty-Four there were attempts to eliminate procreation all together however the technology was not available.
