Character Analasys of "Piggy"
Throughout the novel, there were a number of symbolic characters. I found Piggy to be of the most significant. As his character progressed through the book, his personality and wholesome characteristics degraded. Piggy?s regression of self was evident in his decision-making, rationality, communication, and his actions on the island. …showed last 75 words of 571 total…civilization, as well the destruction of all technologies they could have been exposed to when Piggy was alive. Piggy?s character underwent severe change from the beginning of the novel to the end. His ability to see clear (literally) as well as his ability to reason diminished with the destruction of his spectacles. In the end, the savage inside of all of the boys came through, and to Piggy?s demise, turned merciless and fatal.
