Intergroup conflicts often stem from interdependencies and shared recourses; intergroup differences in goals, values, or perceptions; authority imbalances; or ambiguity. Problems like these can be solved by establishing super ordinate goals, eliminating interdependencies, using one or more conflict-resolution modes, or through OD conflict-resolution techniques like confrontation meetings.
