…showed last 75 words of 1458 total…spoken words and simple sentences. I also believe that to some extent lesser primates do understand the meaning of some words. Though, I do not believe that they will ever be able to completely master language including challenging sentences, abstract ideas, and all of the grammar rules. I still believe that chimpanzees, apes, and gorillas are able to learn language through certain methods, many years of practice, and if they are willing to be taught.
