Throughout history, there have been many exciting and dangerous events. There have also been many people who have survived and persisted through journeys that seem almost unbelievable. One person who has survived a journey like that is Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca. The term "Cabeza de Vaca" actually stands for "cow's head" or "head of a cow." Francisco Vasquez de Coronado, and influenced them. They read of his accounts and were motivated to explore on their own, making them famous in history as well. Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca died in 1557 a respected man, and still important in history today. He learned much from his explorations; he learned things such as survival skills, reasoning with natives, and leadership. He went through a lot in his life, and is greatly appreciated even today.
