The strengh of the British system of government has always been his ability to stifle any danger of revolution through many reforms. During the 20th century, Britain was the model of liberalism. It is a fact that it's because of the terrible poverty that covered the whole country that the liberal government pass those acts. By bringing in those acts, the government main aim was to stifle any danger of revolution in regards to the french one. Another aim was also to bring down the labour party and to evite a total domination of workers.
