Society, by its very nature is forever changing. Indeed, society in Australia and other countries has changed dramatically over the past generation in a multitude of ways. As society continues this growth and flux it has consequential influences on education and the objectives education strives for. If our struggling boys are to enjoy similar advantages and successes in the years to come they will require equal conviction and wisdom to be applied on their behalf. If such a commitment is made, then we may hopefully have true equity in our schools and our society will reap the inevitable benefits.
