Among the books on my bookshelves, there are many that are interesting, and exciting, but only one of them is unforgettable. It is the true story of a young Jewish girl named Esther Rudomin, and her family living in Siberia. This book is entitled 'The Endless Steppe', written by Esther Hautzig.
The story takes place during World War II, when the wealthy Rudomin Family is pronounced capitalists. They are removed from their beautiful home and

feelings. I like the ending that is joyful and the uplifting part in the novel, as the family is reunion. I have also learnt how the Jews felt during the Holocaust and their hardships to deal with war. The story also shows the problems the "prisoners" faced and how harshly they were treated.
I would recommend this book to those who are emotional and hope to know about the hardships the Jews have gone through.
