'Being Australian' is hard to discuss because I truly don't think that there is a correct definition to it. To some people it may be because they were born here and to others because they're citizens. Some may think it's because we follow the same sport very closely and others may say it's because this is the country that gave them hope for a better life. Everyone has their own opinion on what

I thought it was a bad place and didn't like it at all. Of course I thought that because I was young and wasn't used to the idea or had ever imagined of living any where apart from my home country. But as I got older I realised that this was fast becoming my country and didn't think otherwise. I love Australia as much as I do my home country, if not maybe even more.
