Old Major's dream was that all the animals would be treated with kindness. Without
any humans around at first his dream comes true. Eventually the pigs become overcome
with greed. They treat the lesses animals the same way the humans treated them. The
greed causes the animals to turn against each other. In the end Old Major's dream
turned into a nightmare.
