Analysis of sonnet 18 relating it to our lives
The Shakespearean sonnet has three quatrains and a concluding couplet. It consists of 14 lines, the rhyming pattern is usually abab cdcd efef gg, and written in iambic pentameter. All of his sonnets were written about love. Sonnet 18 is about the narrator being in love with a beautiful girl. Life is usually more appealing than death, which makes her beauty even more distinguished. The theme of this poem relates to my life because I tend to look on the bright side of things in my life. The good things in my life make it seem that much better.
