the fear other then to just accept the fact that it will one day come. For a man like Gilgamesh who felt he should live on forever, this was difficult. Even though Gilgamesh does not know he lived on forever, he has. His story is retold over and over and there are great pieces of art all over the world retelling his story. Gilgamesh was able to conquer death, just like he did everything else.
